Howdy Jason! I just made a bevy of copies of your wonderful still lives to inspire my oil/acrylic class that I teach this semester. I believe "simple" object still life studies is a great way for students (and pros) to develop their skills. Again, your blog is a valuable resource for an educator (and fellow artist) like me. I just posted an acrylic I did of a can of cat food (my cat is watering at the mouth just thinking about it!).
I am a Seattle based artist who paints and sketches the world around him. I am primarily a figurative painter (please checkout my website!).
I paint everyday, and my blog showcases the small paintings I work on to sharpen my eye, loosen my brush, and to grow my skills.

Hi David,
That's so cool! Thanks for sharing. Your cat goes nuts when you open that can... my cat is just nuts.
