Hey Jason, these are getting stronger and more confident every time I check in. The halved Apples is particularly well done I think. I wonder how you are feeling about the progress you are making. I know you post your goal setting progress reports occasionally but do you ever look at your body of work from the beginning and scroll through and recognize growth. it's really a nice body of work you're building.
Hmmm... I don't really line everything up, but on occasion I do look at a few of the older pieces still here in the house.
All in all, I do feel stronger and more confident in my painting, but I do see a few trends here and there in the way I see or paint that are missing from those earlier pieces that I'd like to get back.
It's always a struggle-- growth-- but it's been a great journey so far.
I am a Seattle based artist who paints and sketches the world around him. I am primarily a figurative painter (please checkout my website!).
I paint everyday, and my blog showcases the small paintings I work on to sharpen my eye, loosen my brush, and to grow my skills.
