Changing of the Guard

Changing of the Guard,  oil on linen, 5" X 7", 2013
$125 USD framed
September is one of the more memorable times in my hometown of Santa Fe. Its the changing of the seasons, Fiestas, the aspens in the mountains turn to gold, and the smell of roasting chile all around.
Here's a little nod to the old hometown.

On a side note... sometimes paintings don't work out. Above is the first version of this piece I did, the night before. It really kicked my butt, so it got wiped down and started anew.
