I know it's been a bit of time since the last post, but never fear, you're about to get a torrent of paintings! I've been quietly working on a series of paintings inspired by recent visits to Willows Inn on Lummi Island, and the food of Blaine Wetzel. You'll see those start to appear along with plein air paintings from my recent trip to Montana. This oyster shell, a Shigoku, was a remnant of a Willows meal.
I am a Seattle based artist who paints and sketches the world around him. I am primarily a figurative painter (please checkout my website!).
I paint everyday, and my blog showcases the small paintings I work on to sharpen my eye, loosen my brush, and to grow my skills.
