Anchored at Seward Park, oil on masonite, 7" X 5", 2008

I've kept up a bit with the plein air work now that I'm back from my trip. This is from a little harbor near Seward Park-- one of Seattle's 'undiscovered' gems.
I am a Seattle based artist who paints and sketches the world around him. I am primarily a figurative painter (please checkout my website!).
I paint everyday, and my blog showcases the small paintings I work on to sharpen my eye, loosen my brush, and to grow my skills.

I love this one, Jason!
Excellent series, Jason. Inspiring, as usual. Looks like you're having fun with these. :)
Love the peaceful feeling in this painting. The dashes of reds and the pale teal of the boat windows are marvelous!
Margaret,
Thank you!
Steven,
Thanks! The plein air stuff *is* sort of fun. I'd still lik to work my 'eye' a lot more...
Karen,
Thank you for the kind words. It was fairly peaceful, although I got more than a few lookee loos coming by...
