Laquered Miso Bowl (sold)


Laquered Miso Bowl, oil on masonite, 5" X 7", 2007

I envisioned this as a companion piece to Chipped Sugar Bowl...
I like the composition-- especially when framed, so I'll probably do a few more (with different bowls).

Masonite has been used as a surface for awhile now-- it's actually fairly nice to paint on.
