I was having a discussion with someone at a gallery opening last month (the Spirits show) and he mentioned that he was used to seeing my reflection in paintings with glossy surfaces. I said that was probably because my old studio was something like 5 feet by 5 feet, and I was super close to my subject matter. The new studio is much bigger, and I can get further away.

For old time's sake I out this vase super close, just to get a good reflection.
