I went to Lincoln City to take part in an Arts festival, which has a Quick Draw Paint out. I did this last year, and I had some ideas I wanted to try out this time around. I set up in the same spot I did last time, but with a bigger canvas.

I wanted to see if I could get an 11 X 14 panel done in two hours, and what you see here is the result.

I bought a new easel set up and umbrella in anticipation of two summer painting trips: a Best Brella and and EasyL Versa easel. I love them both.

This'll likely be one of the few still life set ups for awhile, so get ready for a bevvy of plein air work over the next few weeks! I just completed a trip to Lincoln City in Oregon, and am headed to Montana in a couple of weeks, so I'm trying to get my outdoor skills in shape.
