This piece revisits (by commission) a painting done awhile ago. Most of the time I work on canvas panels (or masonite panels) for small pieces, and stretched linen for larger stuff. For this piece, I took the opportunity to try out a new surface; a linen panel.
Store bought linen panels are about 10 times more expensive than canvas panels, but whoo! What a fun surface to work on!

I need to invest the time to make some of my own...
