Chocolate Cake for Two #2 (sold)

Chocolate Cake for Two #2, oil on linen, 5" X 7", 2008
sold

I bought a couple of different pieces of cake to paint-- this is the second kind, not as dark and rich a fudge as the last one. It's also a bit more Thiebaud inspired. Painters who paint pastry and cakes and such today owe a pretty large debt to Wayne for the work he's done...

I know Yhe artist should never get too involved(emotionally)with the model.
I would have eaten the cake first.
Nice painting..what i mean to say is.
You can't eat it and paint it too.
