I've really been meaning to get back into figurative work, and I think I'll make Friday posts figure related. Expect to see more self portraits than you probably want to, as I am the cheapest and most easily available model. For now, Mary Jo has been kind enough to pose on occasion.

You should learn something from every painting. I've tackled this subject before, and what I should have learned then, was what I learned this time: this figure is too small (for me anyway) to paint actual size. Next time, I'll paint it a little larger...
